Age: Between 23 to 65 years old.
Driver must produce a valid Singapore Class 3 driver’s license and identity card (Local)
Or
Foreign driver’s license with passport (Foreigners) |
| If I’m Foreigner, will Keng Soon Car Rental accept a Foreign Driver’s Permit / License? |
| Yes, if you residing in Singapore for less than 12 months, you are not required to convert your driving license to a Singapore driving license.
You may drive in Singapore with a valid driving permit issued by a foreign Automobile Association. |
| What does the car rental rate include? |
| Rates include insurance, road-tax, maintenance and unlimited mileage for local use. |
| Can anyone other than myself drive the car? |
Yes, additional driver is allowed to drive the car.
The additional driver must fulfill the basic requirements for the car rental and must register with Keng Soon office before he / she is allowed to drive the car.
Otherwise, he / she is not covered by the insurance. |
| Who do we contact if there is a problem with the rental car? |
| We have a 24-hrs Breakdown Service and you may reach us via 6336 6643 and our friendly customer service representative will attend to your very need. |
| What happens if my vehicle is involved in an accident? |
| The hirer must report all accidents to Keng Soon Office immediately.
Hirer shall not admit liability. |
| Can the rental vehicle be driven into Malaysia? |
| Please inform us of your intention to drive to Malaysia and there will be additional charge for usage in Malaysia.
Otherwise all rental vehicles are strictly for Singapore Use. |
| What if I receive a parking ticket? |
| The hirer is liable for all parking and traffic fines and / or offences that he / she incurs. |
| How can I extend the rental period? |
| To extend the rental period, the hirer must call and inform Keng Soon Office at 6337 7533.
An advance payment is required to extend the rental period, failing which the hirer is driving without insurance |
| Is delivery or collection services available? |
| Yes, for delivery or collection during office hours, there is a charge of SGD$25.
Free delivery and collection, for rental a minimum of one week rental. |
| What type of credit cards do you accept? |
| Visa and Master Card. |
| Must I refill the petrol tank? |
| Yes, the hirer has to refill the petrol to it’s original level. If not, it will be chargeable to the hirer. |
